SPOTLIGHT: Bright Eyes.

I interrupt this regular schedule of blog postings to bring you Conor Oberst. He may be a cliché every semi-indie kid likes to brag about, but there’s a reason for that. The man’s a genius. Whenever imminent stress (also known as life) happens, I sit down in my thinking chair and think…while listening to the musical stylings of Bright Eyes. Of course, Oberst’s solo recordings are also incredible, but I’ll save that for another post. For now, let’s concentrate on what we know. We know that a) Bright Eyes is amazing, b) Bright Eyes is awesome, c) Bright Eyes is lots of other adjectives that start with “a”, and d) you need to go listen to them. Right now. I mean it, drop what you’re doing and partake in some angst, if only for a moment. Who knows, maybe you’ll stay awhile.

Bright Eyes
Lucky for you, I’m in a giving mood today. Enjoy a super-sized portion of Bright Eyes, on me.
